Yo Quiero Bailar 2026- Nature and I

This year, Yo Quiero Bailar is expanding. We're thrilled to announce a collaboration with Proyecto Opciones and the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico to bring our movement-technology methodology to a new community—adults with functional diversity who will draw, create, and generate immersive AR and VR experiences inspired by their time in the museum garden. Around the theme La Naturaleza y Yo, participants will transform their own marks and movements into multimedia worlds they can inhabit together. For the past two years, we've been building this work, learning what happens when movement, drawing, and spatial technology collide. Now we're opening the doors wider—literally and creatively—and inviting new artists to step into the work with us.

We welcome our team for this year: our Artistic Director Ana Sánchez Colberg is the overall project leader and in charge of the design and production of the VR AR experiences, María José Rodríguez Torrado returns as Lead Workshop Facilitator, joined by Natalia Maysonet and Annie Irrizarry as workshop faciltitators.
